Resolute Consulting founder Greg Goldner brings public affairs, communications, campaign, and government experience to client work. He is a veteran strategist, involved in high-profile national and regional public policy issues and public affairs.
Greg's acumen in the policy arena and his expertise in issues management inform all of Resolute’s client work. He provides counsel to business leaders from Fortune 100 companies, trade associations, professional services firms, and leaders in the not-for-profit sector.
Prior to founding Resolute, Greg was a senior aide in the (Chicago) Mayor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and served as chief operating officer for the City of Chicago's Department of General Services. He has managed dozens of political campaigns at the municipal, county, state and federal levels, including Rahm Emanuel's first Congressional campaign, Mayor Richard M. Daley's re-election in 2003 and other significant contests in the Latino and African-American communities. In 2008, Greg was tapped by Obama for America, for which he implemented Get Out the Vote (GOTV) and voter protection programs in Ohio.
Greg is a member of the Economic Club and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He has a master's degree in political management from George Washington University and is a graduate of Illinois State University with concentrations in political science and history.
