While serving in the Mayor's Office of Intergovernmental Affairs for the City of Chicago, Greg served as the liaison to the City Council and State Legislature, working to implement Mayor Richard Daley's agenda in both legislative bodies.

While working in the Mayor's Office, Greg coordinated numerous issue campaigns, including the successful 2000 'You Count' census outreach program, which helped maintain Chicago's current level of representation in the United States Congress.

On another front, he developed 'Business Leaders for Wacker Drive,' a coalition that successfully mobilized Chicago's business community to lobby Congress for federal funding of the Wacker Drive reconstruction project.

Greg has managed dozens of campaigns at municipal, county, state and federal levels, including many within the Hispanic and African-American communities. Greg's recent campaign experience includes managing Rahm Emanuel's successful congressional campaign, managing Mayor Richard M. Daley's reelection in 2003, and serving as Chicago/Cook County Director for Rod Blagojevich's first run for governor.
