Herb is an experienced community organizer with a background in youth counseling and program development.  He brings expertise on issues impacting Chicago’s diverse communities and neighborhoods across the city.

Prior to joining Resolute, Herb worked as a youth counselor at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center, where he developed programs and designed activities for young men and women in both individual and group settings.

Herb was also a program coordinator in the Youth and Neighborhood Division of the New City YMCA, where he worked on academic and athletic programs for youth and job training and career development for adults.
