The Henry Ford Learning Institute is dedicated to building model, sustainable high schools in urban communities. The Institute called in Resolute Consulting to plan and produce a signature news event showcasing Ford's financial commitment to Chicago's Power House High, and featuring Ford Motor Chairman Bill Ford, Mayor Richard M. Daley, and a host of civic, philanthropic and community leaders. Resolute managed logistics at multiple sites, including the old electrical substation building that is being redeveloped as the high school. A balance needed to be struck to ensure the mission and message of Ford's commitment was the star, while ensuring a flawless event that also showcased sustainable community development and the rebirth of an abandoned building to serve the next generation.
