Armando brings 18 years of experience in public affairs, marketing and project management, specializing in infrastructure and transportation projects. Among his many accomplishments, Armando recently received a platinum PRNews award for the Best Multicultural Campaign for his work on behalf of the Illinois Department of Transportation's traffic safety program.
Armando advises clients on coalition-building and organizing strategies. His government experience and work with the business and civic communities throughout the region provide valuable insight essential to client successes.
Prior to joining Resolute, Armando was with Bechtel Infrastructure Corporation, where he directed the company's public affairs programs and managed marketing and business development for the Midwest.
He also served as senior government and community relations officer at the Chicago Transit Authority, and was the public affairs manager at Unzelman & Associates. During this time, he managed the $762-million expansion of Midway Airport.
Armando served as chief of staff to the Hon. Joseph Mario Moreno, Cook County Board of Commissioners. He also administered programs for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.
He began his career as a journalist at Extra Bilingual Community Newspaper and earned his B.A. in communications from Loyola University.
